AC31
Category:
Product Description
AC31 provides a compact and powerful central processing unit, providing a flexible design scheme for various possible distributed system networks.
All central processing units, from small control systems (40.50 series) to compact systems (90 series) with more complex control functions, are programmed in accordance with IEC 61131-3 standard.
They provide up to 1 MB of high-performance user memory in a small space, with 60 points of integrated I/O (analog and switching), two serial interfaces (they can be configured as MODBUS or ASCII communication), and a pluggable SMC card for reading user programs or saving data.
Two or more communication interfaces with independent processors have been integrated on the central processing unit. Users can choose various integrated fieldbus combinations that support different network protocols, such as Ethernet+Profibus DP, ARCNET+CANopen or CANopen+Ethernet.
In order to save space, the central processing unit integrates communication coupling interface in its standard structure. The configuration tools for various field buses that may be used have also been integrated into the corresponding parts of the software package 907 AC 1131.
The 50 and 90 systems of AC31 can be mixed as required. It provides the possibility that a 50-series central processing unit can be used as a master with a 90-series module as a slave, or vice versa, a 90-series central processing unit can be used as a master with a 50-series module.
