The establishment of the new company is one of the important measures for ABB to implement the strategic cooperation memorandum of understanding signed with the Guangdong Provincial Development and Reform Commission ("Guangdong Provincial Development and Reform Commission") in 2013. According to the plan, ABB Robotics (Zhuhai) Co., Ltd. will carry out ABB robot application development, system integration and customer service in Guangdong, Guangxi and Hainan provinces, focusing on meeting the rapidly growing market for industrial robots in the fields of white appliances, electronic manufacturing, automobile, food and beverage in South China
